As the owner of a LINE-X franchise for over 8 years, Jeremy Horst knew the struggles of the day to day operations. In early 2014 he had an idea about how he could transform the manual processes in his franchise into a semi-automated web and smart device system, and MyStorefront was created.

I had been looking for a scheduling software program for a couple years. We run 25+ vehicles a day through are shop and most of them get multiple items that need to go to different departments in our facility. A paper calendar just wasn't cutting it any more. There just simply wasn't enough room on a paper calendar to write down each jobs details. Using a generic calendar (Google) just didn't seem practical.
We jumped on board with KJ when it was still in development and we gave them our feed back on how to improve it and what changes were good and others not so good. It takes some adjustment. If you make the adjustments internally on how you do things to match the capabilities of the software it will improve your efficiency and organization. A computer in the shop is a must so they can update the calendar as different items are completed. It's very simple to do.
When I say we couldn't run our business without it. It might be a slight exaggeration. But it's true! Because it's designed for exactly what we do in a Line-X Store it works perfect to keep everyone organized and on track with each job. And as a store owner I can look at the calendar and see exactly what's been done and what's in line to be done. It's an excellent management tool and makes my shop run much smoother than before.
The VIN scanner alone saves us enough time each month to pay for the monthly fee. Then add in the direct connection to the Line-X Warranty database. It's a no brainer.

Just wanted to let you know how much Storefront has helped my business. This program is really well developed and easy to use. We have been able to have new employees up and running on it within one day. Rarely down and you guys are always responsive to any and all of our questions.
Our admin time has been reduced by some unknown but terrific percentage. Scheduling appointments is now quick and complete. Very rarely, now, do we have forgotten appointments and customer details. We now have the tools to look weeks out and can see the details of upcoming projects and plan production accordingly.
We are integrated with Quickbooks so the time required to generate invoices/warranties has been reduced by at least 66%. We have a computer in the shop that backside employees can look at so everyone is now on the same page... that's huge.
Nicely done Jeremy! This could have only been created by someone that spent years, with us, in the LINE-X "trenches".

We started using the software as a beta test. At first, we were scared to throw away our paper schedule and move to a complete electronic schedule. After a couple of weeks we were glad to get to throw away the paper schedule. Over the years we have come accustomed to using more and more features this software offers.
The first benefit was my handwriting is not so great so other people can read the schedule now. Second, we are able to document the vehicle condition and vin scan efficiently. We are able to communicate jobs more effectively to our customers, shop techs and schedulers and have less mistakes with jobs. Lastly, without this software now we would have a really hard time keeping up with the work flow.
Customers also feel more confident shops are well organized and the check in process is integral to making you look professional. I would highly recommend this software to any Line-X shop no matter what size of shop.

LINE-X of Albany has been using Storefront since April 2018 and it is an invaluable resource. (Also using in our second LINE-X store since May 2019). It streamlines the processes of tracking leads, creating appointments, generating warranties, and entering in the VIN by using a smartphone to scan the vehicle code, which eliminates errors when entering by hand and is much faster.
Storefront links directly to Quickbooks Online, generating an invoice without entering all the info again. I can’t imagine trying to run our LINE-X businesses without Storefront and highly recommend it to every franchise.
